| The Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council is a non-profit, 501(c) (3), arts organization that relies on membership revenue to maintain the volunteer based programs that are provided throughout the year. Your Membership Benefits Include... Open Studio Art Tours Fine Artists and Art Galleries can apply to participate in the Annual Morongo Basin Open Studio Art Tours which has become our biggest event of the year to promote and sell works by artists of the Morongo Basin. Also, during the Art Tours, art galleries, cafes, and live theatres invite the public to continue the celebration of the arts by providing a "Venue and Events Schedule" in the Art Tours Program. The Events Schedule gives the visitor a spectacular opportunity in experiencing the diverse talent thriving in our community. The Art Tours Program is available free of charge a few weeks prior to the event and distributed at the California Welcome Center in Yucca Valley and the Chamber of Commerce in Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree and 29 Palms. |
| Exhibition Venues Artists are invited to exhibit and sell their recent works of art at the Exhibition Venues located at A Roadside Attraction, the Hi-Desert Nature Museum, Wonder Garden and the 29 Palms Inn. Gathering of Artists You are invited to the Gathering of Artists celebrations that take place in Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall which are announced in the newsletter. The Art Link Newsletter The Art Link quarterly newsletter will be received by mail to keep you posted on the local arts and cultural events, and announce the next Gathering of Artists. Creative Writers Newsletter Publishing For the writer, you are invited to submit a poem or short story, 250 words or less, to be published in The Art Link newsletter. Local Radio Coverage Thanks to Gary Daigneault, the owner of Z-107.7 FM Radio! FREE advertising provided by Z107 Radio on the MBCAC Art Calendar is available to announce your events, performances, or exhibit venues at non-profit or art gallery locations throughout the Morongo Basin. Commercial venues are exempt. E-Flash Art Announcements You can request E-Flash messages to be sent out for weekly updates and reminders of art announcements by sending in your requested messages.
